Dive Training

The Dive Shop features certification by Scuba Diving International (SDI)/Technical Diving International (TDI), the largest technical certification agency in the world. SDI is a primary member of the Recreational Scuba Training Council (RSTC); SDI certification cards at all levels are recognized and honored throughout the world.

At the first class of instruction, we will have you sign a medical form and a general release of liability (see below). Please be aware that any “Yes” answer on the medical form will require a release from your physician before you can proceed with the training (Physician’s Form – below). Please review these forms prior to the first class. If there is a “Yes” for any of the medical questions, arrange now to see your physician for the release (Physician’s Form – below). If your physician does not have experience with scuba-related medicine, SDI has prepared a “Guidelines for Recreational Scuba Diver’s Physical Examination” to assist him/her in making a medical determination of suitability (see below).
