Its time to learn to Scuba dive!

The Dive Shop offers safe, affordable Scuba instruction at a pace that you set.

The Dive Shop’s Open Water Scuba Diver Certification price of $200 is all inclusive.

No need to buy additional books, equipment, and we never require you to purchase equipment that you don’t need.

Your price includes books, equipment rental for 4 class/pool sessions and for 4 Open Water dives conducted over two weeks (Tues/Thur nights 7-10 pm or Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm). The only additional costs would be for transportation/food/lodging for the Open Water dives. Check our calendar for a class date that fits your schedule – look for “OW  ” dates and then sign up in the form at the bottom this page. All students will be required to complete and sign our Liability Release and Medical forms in class the first night. Parents or guardians will be required to sign for students under the age of 18.

We conduct Open Water dives at Blue Lake (near Wendover) the last weekend of each month, and can also conduct the Open Water dives at the Crater (Midway, UT) by special arrangement with The Dive Shop.

We feature certification by Scuba Diving International (SDI)/Technical Diving International (TDI), the largest technical certification agency in the world.

The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course is an entry-level certification course designed to give you the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives. Some of the skills you will learn include buoyancy, proper weighting, marine conservation, equipment assembly, proper dive planning, and maintenance. It covers all the basic knowledge about equipment, physiology and the marine environment while training students to perform basic skills underwater. This course is the key to start exploring dive destinations around the globe or just in your backyard.
