NITROX TRAINING

Computer Nitrox Diver

Little else has impacted recreational diving more than the introduction of Nitrox, allowing more time underwater and shorter surface intervals. The Dive Shop offers two Nitrox specialty classes: Computer Nitrox and TDI Nitrox. Both offer a Nitrox certification (with certification card). The TDI Nitrox class is scheduled occasionally as it appears on our events calendar. The Computer Nitrox class is much more flexible – the online portion is done at your convenience and the practical application is arranged to fit your schedule.

SDI Computer Nitrox is designed to teach open water Scuba divers how to use Nitrox mixtures up to 40% with the aid of a programmable computer. The class is 2 parts; an on-line portion followed by a one hour practical application at The Dive Shop where you will analyze a Nitrox gas mix and program a computer to do a Nitrox dive. The Computer Nitrox class is $80 AND…there is no getting wet for this training!
